Today we went down to Provo to visit Great Grandpa Ross. Boston had fun showing off his new tricks...which include yelling and rolling everywhere. Grandpa really enjoyed him and Boston smiled as big as ever with all of the attention.
Brighton sang "Have you seen my new shoes" to grandpa, because she got new shoes today. It was fun and reminded me of back in the day when we would all get in a circle with grandpa and he would help us sing the song and do the dance. I am too sad to even think that Boston will not get to learn this from him, but with me.
Grandpa is doing well, "As well as an old man can be" that's what he says every time I ask him. It is so hard to see him this way. I forget how old and frail he is in between every visit.
Tomorrow is the 24th and we are getting ready to go to the parade tonight, I will have lots of pictures to post then!

I miss your Grandpa Ross. I haven't seen him for so long. :(
When ever I think of your Grandpa Ross... first I think of all of us fighting whose Grandpa he was. And second when we were over playing at his house and I ran right into the glass sliding door thinking it was open. Oh the good times. :)
I love these! How adorable. I miss "My New Shoes" too. It makes me teary. I love the pic where Boston ist ouching G-pa's chin. Way too cute!
I'm so glad that you went and saw Grandpa. When I went it was not as pleasent but it was worth seeing him. he kept saying how much he missed everyone coming to see him.
I have to admit... i left in tears. He was so happy to see us yet so sad when we left. We are going to make a better effort to see him!

It is good to see your Grandpa Ross. I haven't seen him for years. And it is so good of you to stop and visit. You just never know how long they will be there!
